ORDINANCE N0. 13-88
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A THREE (3) YEAR TERM FOR ALL
MEMBERS OF THE PLUMBERS' REVIEW BOARD, THE BOARD OF APPEALS AND
THE HOUSING ADVISORY AND APPEALS BOARD IN THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA, AS
FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
I .
Section 31-18 Terms . The membersof the Plumbers ' Review
Board shall serve for terms of three (3) years commencing on the
first day of January. No members shall serve more than two (2)
consecutive terms .
II .
The Uniform Building Code, 1985 edition, Section 204 is
hereby amended to read as follows, to-wit :
The members of the Board of Appeals shall
serve for terms of three (3) years commencing
on the first day of January. No member shall
serve more than two (2) consecutive terms .
III .
Section H-203 of Ordinance No. 597 (the City Housing Mainten-
ance and Occupancy Ordinance) is hereby amended as follows, to-wit:
The members of the Housing Advisory and
Ap eals Board shall serve for terms of three
(3� years commencing on the first day of
January. No member shall serve more than
two (2) consecutive terms .
IV.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
