ORDINANCE NO. 15-89
An Ordinance of the City of Brookings, South Dakota, amending
Article III of Chapter 16, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Brookings, South Dakota pertaining to the Charges for Use of the
Landfill thereto;
I . That Section 16-47, Charges for Use, of the Hrookings Ordinance
shall be amended to read as follows:
Each licensed commercial hauler, each commercial establishment
and any other individual hauling garbage, rubbish and waste
material shall pay to the city for the use of the sanitary
landfill , per vehicle load or part of a load, the following
charges:
(a) For loose loads of more than two (2) cubic yards, the sum of
two dollars ($2 .00) per cubic yard of waste or material .
Minimum fee, two dollars ($2 .00) .
(b) For all commercial compactor trucks, the sum of three
dollars ($3.00) per cubic yard per rated capacity.
II . All sections and ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
