ORDINANCE NO. 25-90
AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1990 BY ORDINANCE
NO. 16-89 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR
THE OPERATION OF THE CITY", AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. WHEREAS, by the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for
the year 1990, Ordinance No. 16-89 appropriating revenue for the
operation of the municipal government for the year 1990, sufficient
revenue was not provided to enable the municipality to conduct the
indispensable functions of the government of said City.
Section 2. THERE IS HEREBY appropriated for the purpose of
maintaining and operating the City of Brookings, additional sums for
the following funds:
General Fund
101-457-5-42603 Historic Preservation $ 4,000
101-458-5-42909 Historic Book 14,537
101-493-5-10100 Food Pantry 800
101-495-5-85613 Domestic Abuse 1,500
Section 3 . ALL ORDINANCES or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4 . AN EMERGENCY is hereby declared and this Ordinance is
declared to be for the support of the municipal government and its
existing public institutions and it shall be in full force and effect
after its passage and publication.
