ORDINANCE NO. 23-90 AN ORDINANCE REVISING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS AND ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS CONCERNING NONSTANDARD USES IN THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA, AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT: I. ARTICLE II. DEFINITIONS Section 200. Word definitions . 341 Nonstandard uses. The category of nonconformance consisting of lots occupied by buildings, structures or uses which fail to comply with any of the following: minimum lot area, width, front yard, side yard, rear yard, height, or parking for the district in which they are located, even though the use of the premises conforms to the permitted uses within the district as set out in the provisions of this Ordinance. II. Section 214 . Nonstandard uses. Nonstandard uses may be continued, although such uses do not conform to the provisions hereof. , Nonstandard structures and buildings may be enlarged, extended, reconstructed or altered if such changes comply with the yard, height and parking requirements for the district in which they are located. III. Al1 ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
