INITIATED ORDINANCE NO. 8-90
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Chapter 5 of the Revised Ordinances of the
City af Brookings, and pertaining to Sunday sales or alcoholic
beverages by on-sale licensees.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA, THAT CHAPTER 5 OF THE REVISSD ORDINANCES OF THS CITY O�'
BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA, BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS, TO WIT:
SECTION 5-7. SUNDAY OBSERVANCE.
a. No person within the City sha11 sell , offer for sale, serve,
or allow to be consumed on the premises covered by a state license,
any alcoholic beverages on Sunday, except for thase on-sale Iicensees
who possess a valid permit to operate a restaurant as provided for in
Sectian I5-I9 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Broakings,
South Dakota, who may sell, serve or allow to be consumed alcoholic
beverages with the serving of food from ane o'clock p.m. to twelve

b. Any and aII Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
