ORDINANCE NO. 39-91
AN ORDINANCE REVISING CHAPTER 14 OF TIiE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF BROOKINGS AND PERTAINING TO NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR MOVING
STRUCTURES IN THE CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the governing body of the City of Brookings,
South Dakota, as follows, to-wit:
I.
ARTICLE III. HOUSE MOVING
section 10-42. �Totice of Application.
Except as hereafter provided, no moving permit shall be issued
until the notice of application has been given by publication in the
official newspaper at least five (5) days prior to the date when such
application shall be considered and by mailing a copy of the notice to
owners of real estate adjoining the real estate upon which the
building or structure is to be moved. The notice shall state the time
and place of the hearing and, in general terms, a description of the
building to be moved and the location. Al1 requests for moving
permits shall be accompanied by a deposit of twenty five dollars
($25. 00) which shall be used to defray the expenses of administrative
preparation.
II.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
