ORDINANCE N0. 38-91
AN ORDINANCE REVISING CHAPTER 14 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF BROOKINGS AND PERTAINING TO FIRE PROTECTION AND PREVENTION IN
THE CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the governing body of the City of Brookings,
South Dakota, as follows, to-wit:
I.
ARTICLE III. FIRE PREVENTION CODE
DIVISION I. GENERALLY
Section 14-45. �dopted.
There is hereby adopted by the city for the purpose of
prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and
property from fire or explosion, that certain code known as the "Fire
Prevention Code" recommended by the National Fire Protection
Association, and the American Insurance Association, and the whole
thereof, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted,
modified or amended, of which code one copy has been and now is filed
in the office of the city finance officer and the same is hereby
adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and
the provision shall be controlling within the limits of the City.
II.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
