AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A DATE OF APPOINTMENT FOR MEMBERS OF
THE TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA, AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
I.
The term of any vacancy of the Traffic Safety Committee shall not
extend beyond a period of two (2) years and no person shall serve more
than two (2) consecutive terms. Any appointments for vacancies shall
be made at the first regular meeting of January of each year, except,
in the event a vacancy occurs on a date other than the first Monday of
the year, then the vacancy may be filled by appointment for a term not
exceeding two (2) years, which shall expire on the first Monday of
January.
II.
All Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
