AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A DATE OF APPOINTMENT FOR MEMBERS OF
THE COMMITTEE ON HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA, AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
I.
Any appointments for vacancies shall be made at the first regular
meeting of January of each year, except, in the event a vacancy occurs
on a date other than the first Monday of the year, then the vacancy
may be filled by appointment for a term not exceeding three years,
which term shall expire on the first Monday of January.
II.
Al1 Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
