ORDINANCE NO. 21-91
AN ORDINANCE REVISING THE DATE OF APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE
CITY PLAN COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA, AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
I.
Section 30-32. Terms ot members.
The term of each member of the city plan commission shall be for
five (5) years, except that appointment of each member shall be in
such a manner that there will be an overlapping of tenures.
Appointments to the plan commission shall be made at the first regular
meeting in January of each year. In the event a vacancy occurs on a
date other than the first Monday of the year, then the vacancy may be
filled by appointment for a term not exceeding five (5) years, which
term shall expire on the first Monday of January.
II.
All Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
