ORDINANCE NO. 9-91
AN ORDINANCE REVISING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS PERTAINING TO HOME OCCUPATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA, AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
I.
That Section 200. Word definitions, be amended to read as
follows, to-wit:
100.27e. l. Antiques
2 . Artist, sculptor, author
3 . Barbershop and beauty shop
4 . Dressmaker, milliner, seamstress, tailor,
interior decorator
5. Professional office
6. Teacher, including tutoring, musical
instruction, or dancing
7. Small engine or auto repair
8 . Specialty bakery/catering service
9 . Electrolysis
10. Hobby supplies/aircraft models
11. Hand crafted furniture kits
12 . Coin Shop
13 . Saw sharpening
14. Carpet cleaning service
15. Electronic commodities
16. Archery & reloading equipment & gunsmithing
17. Imported gift items
18. Portrait studio
19. Individual counseling
20. Sales distributor - motivational materials
21. Cottage crafts
22 . Financial counselor
23 . Bicycle repair
24 . Furniture repair/refinishing

full, fair and complete hearing thereon.
II.
All Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
