Public Hearing and Action on a Temporary Package Wine and Beer License for East Central CASA
Fire & Ice Auction and Gala to be held at the Swiftel Center on April 11, 2015.
Summary:
East Central CASA has applied for a Temporary Package Wine and Beer License for the CASA Fire
& Ice Auction and Gala to be held at the Swiftel Center, 824 32nd Ave., on April 11, 2015. Pursuant to
changes in state law, all temporary alcohol licenses must be approved by the City Council through
use of a public hearing. All documents have been filed with the City pertaining to insurance and
other licensing requirements.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval.

Sale of Alcoholic Beverages
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Brookings City Council, Brookings, South
Dakota, will hold a public hearing at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015, in the
Brookings City & County Government Center, 520 Third Street, to consider an
application for temporary package wine and beer licenses to operate within the
City of Brookings, South Dakota for East Central CASA Fire & Ice Auction and
Gala to be held on April 11, 2015. At which time and place all persons interested
will be given a full, fair and complete hearing thereon.
