AH ORDINANCE AMEHDIHG SECTION 25-56 OF THE REVISED ORDINAHCES OF
THE CITY OF BROOKINGS AND PERTAIHIHG TO DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS AHD
EXCEPTIOHS THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERHIHG BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA, AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
I.
Section 25-56. Discharging reapon, Exceptions.
(a) Ho person shall willfully discharge any type of firearm, sir
gun, pellet or BB gun, or other gun in any place ahere there is
any person to be endangered thereby, although no injury to any
person shall ensue.
(b) Exception - ( 1) City animal control offiaers may use a
pneumatic powered pellet pistol or rifle to eliminate �ild birds
or wild animals which pose a health or safety threat. (2)
Firearms may be used in indoor target ranges Nhere the use
thereof does not endanger any person.
II.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
