AH ORDIHAHCE REVISIHG THE ZONIHG ORDIHANCE OF THE CITY OF
BROOKIHGS PERTAINING TO CURB CUTS, APPROACHES AHD DRIVEWAYS IN
RESIDEHTIAL DISTRICTS.
BE IT ORDAIHED BY THE GOVERHIHG BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKIHGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA, THAT SECTIOH 702. ACCESS DRIVES, BE AMENDED TO READ AS
FOLLOWS, TO WIT:
I.
702. 2b The aurb cut width may not exceed the a1loMable approach
width. One flair on each side of the approach shall be permitted and
shall not exceed four feet (4' ) along the curb line.
702.2d Driveway approaches, from the roadMay to the property
line or sidewalk, having direct access to a garage may be the same
Midth as the garage. DriveMay approaches shall have a maximum ridth
of thirty-six feet (36' ) . Where no garage exits, or where a garage is
less than tMenty-four feet (24' ) wide, the approach may be up to
tMenty-four feet (24' ) in Nidth.
702. 2e The width of a driveway leading directly to a garage from
the property line or sidewalk, onto the property may be the same Nidth
as the garage and may be extended into the yard area betaeen the
driveway and nearest side lot line a distance not exceeding tpelve
feet t12' ) . Driveways shall not exceed thirty-six feet (36' ) in
t+idth.
II.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
