AN ORDIHAHCE AMEHDIHG THE ZONIHG ORDIHANCE OF THE CITY OF
BROOKIHGS, SOUTH DAKOTA, AHD PERTAIHIRG TO F'ROHT YARD PARKINIG AHD TO
ACCESS DRIVES LOCATED IN BUSIHESS AHD INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS IN THE CITY
OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA.
BE IT ORDAIHED BY THE GOVERHING BODY OF THE CITY OF BftOOKIHGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA, THAT SECTIOHS 701. 6 AHD 7-2. if SHALL BE AMEHDED AS
FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
I.
701. 6 Front Yard Parkina Restricted.
a. Ao off-street parking shall be permitted in the front yard of
any lot located in any residential district except upon a driveaay
providing direct access to the garage or rear yard and except for the
yard area between the driveway and the nearest side lot line.
b. Ho off-street parking shall be permitted in the front yard of
any lot located in any business or industrial district used
principally for residential purposes except upon a driveNay providing
direct aacese to the garage or resr yard and except for the yard area
between the driveway and the nearest side lot line.
702. if Access Drives.
Parking spaces or access thereto shall be permitted up to all
property lines, except parking and access thereto upon lots used
principally for residential purposes shall be governed by Section
701. 6. Encroachment over the public right-of-way or over abutting
property shall not be permitted.
II.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
