AH ORDINAHCE EHTITLED "AH ORDIHAHCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATIOA ORDINAHCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1994 BY ORDINAHCE
NO. 20-93 AHD FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDIHG FOR ADDITIOHAL FUHDS FOR
THE OPERATION OF THE CITY", AHD DECLARING AN EMERGEHCY.
BE IT ORDAIHED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
5ection 1. WHEREAS, by the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for
the year 1994, Ordinance No. 20-93 appropriating revenue for the
' operation of the municipal government for the year 1993, sufficient
revenue ras not provided to enable the municipality to conduct the
indispensable functione of the government of said City.
Section 2. THERE IS HEREBY appropriated for the purpose of
maintaining and operating the City of Brookings, additional sums for
the folloMing funds:
General Fund
101421593000 Police 818, 792
Section 3. ALL ORDIHANCES or parts of Ordinances in aonflict
hererith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. AN EMERGENCY is hereby declared and this Ordinance is
declared to be for the support of the municipal government and ite
existing public institutions and it shall be in full force and effect
after its passage and publication.
