AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNLJAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1996 BY ORDINANCE NO.
26-95 AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE
OPERATION OF THE CITY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. WHEREAS, by the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the year 1996,
Ordinance No. 26-95 appropriating revenue for the operation of the municipal government for the
year 1996, sufficient revenue was not provided to enable the municipality to conduct the
indispensable functions of the government of said City.
Section 2. THERE IS HEREBY appropriated for the purpose of maintaining and operating
the City of Brookings, additional sums for the following funds:
General Fund

101404542207 Disability Committee $ 900
Special Revenue
284000585602 Convention Visitor's Bureau Subsidy $ 13,000
Industrial Park
504000542909 Other $ 40,000
504000091000 Land $ 85,000
Section 3. ALL ORDINANCES or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
