ORDINANCE NO. 10-96
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS WITHIN ONE MILE OF THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS AND WITHIN ONE MILE OF THE BROOKINGS SAIVITARY LANDFILL
FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENFORCEMENT OF CHAPTER 17 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA AND PERTAINING TO
GARBAGE AND SOLID WASTE
BE IT ORDAINED by the governing body of the City of Brookings, South Dakota, as
follows:
I.
Chapter 17, Article VIII. JURISDICTION
Sec. 17-�(1. Jurisdiction of the City.
The City of Brookings shall have jurisdiction for purposes of enforcement of the provision
of this chapter within one mile of the corporate limits of the City of Brookings and within one
mile of the Brookings Sanitary Landfill.
II.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
