ORDINANCE NO. 2-96
AN ORDINANCE REVISING T'HE ZONING ORDINANCE OF TI�CITY OF BROOKINGS
PERTAINING TO A SMALL ANIMAL CLINIC AS A CONDITIONAL USE IN'THE BUSINESS B-2 DISTRICT
AND RELATED DEFINITIONS AND STANDARDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY'TI�GOVERNING BODY OF TI�CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA,
THAT ARTICLE II, V AND VII, CHAPTER 50, TI� 1994 REVISED ZONING ORDINANCE SHALL BE
AMENDED,AS FOLLOWS,TO-WIT:

Sec. 50.02.000. Definitions

Small Animal Clinic-A place where sma11, household pets are treated for injuries and diseases on a primarily
outpatient basis. This includes the temporary indoor kenneling of recovering animals.

Sma11 Animal Clinic- Such use shall provide an area, sufficient in size and screened from view from adjacent
uses, for the walking of patients. '�he use shall be of a design and scale which would not be detrimental to
adjacent residential properties.
All sections and ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
