Present: Rod Schaefer, Teri Ronning, Lee Ann Pierce, Jason Wosje, Kyleigh Cramer,
Tom Richter, Swiftel Executive Director, Kristina Lankow, Marketing Manager,
Jackie Anderson, Business Manager
Agenda Discussions:
Rod Schaefer called the meeting to order.
Teri Ronning made a motion to approve the minutes from March 30, 2017. Rod Schaefer
seconded the motion.
Tom presented the 1st Quarter financials, events and attendance.
Kristina provided a hand out with upcoming events which include:
BHS Graduation, Memorial Day Program, Got Milk Gala, Dairy Fest, Garden Bros Circus, SD
Quarter Horse Show, Dakota Royal Draft Horse Show, POA Horse Show, Uncle Sam Jam,
Game Con, Alan Jackson Concert, Wing & Brew Fest, and Junk Jam.
Matt Chapman no report.
Tom reported for Jeremy Linstad he is working on a new POS system for the concession stands.
Also, scheduling the install of the new Daktronics video board in the arena for August or
September of 2017.
Tom passed out the Annual Reports for 2016. The Alan Jackson concert on August 4 is the day
after Achievement days. Tom will be meeting with the 4H leaders for a possible new setup to
accommodate our setup for the concert. He gave an update on the HWY 14 & 6th street
construction. Tom shared his experience at the Senior Executive Symposium at Cornell
University in Ithaca, NY.
