MEETING
FRIDAY, MAY 12, 2017
The Joint Powers Board met in special session on Friday, May 12, 2017 with the following
members present: Mike Bartley, Stephne Miller, Mary Kidwiler and Nick Wendell.
Mike Bartley called the meeting to order and a quorum was established.
Motion by Miller, seconded by Wendell to enter into Executive Session at 8:31 a.m., in
accordance to SDCL 1-25-2, for purposes of discussing a potential real estate acquisition. All
members voted “aye.” Motion carried. The board came out of Executive Session at 9:55 a.m. No
action was taken.
Motion by Kidwiler, seconded by Wendell to adjourn. All members voted “aye.” Motion
carried.
It is the policy of Brookings County, South Dakota not to discriminate against the
