2. Purpose Statement
The City of Brookings is committed to a high quality of life. Brookings strives to
provide world-class amenities to its citizens through a variety of different avenues,
including the parks and recreation system.
The purpose of the Indoor Recreation Center Steering Committee is to
investigate and propose to the Brookings City Council a financially sustainable center
that meets the needs of our citizens and improves Brookings quality of life.
