of July 12, 2010
The Park and Recreation Board met with members of the Citizen Ad Hoc Committee to hear the
presentation of the Final Nature Park Master Plan by John Royster, Big Muddy Workshop.
There was considerable discussion relative to various features, and a great amount of time was
spent discussing future policies regarding dogs off leash, dog training, and other issues related
to eventual priorities for the Nature Park. There was agreement that additional discussion
needs to take place regarding future policies, possible alternate sites for dog training and dogs
off leash.
The Board reconvened after the Nature Park Master Plan presentation. No minutes were read
as the previous Board meeting lacked a quorum. Present at this meeting are Ryan Krogman,
Erik Dahl, Ann Martin, Same Dunkle, and Keith Rounds.
After reports and general discussion, a motion was approved by those present to accept the
Nature Park Master Plan, as proposed, with minor modifications possible prior to forwarding to
the City Council in late August.
Meeting was adjourned.
