Friday, October 8, 2015, at noon
Suite 230, Room 241 - Brookings City & County Government Center
Attendance: Penny Hauffe, Sam Jennings, Lawrence Novotny, George Hamer,, Judy Karen, and
Shafiqur Rahman.
Absent: Steve Bayer, Kanbi Faith Knippling, Chandradhar Dwivedi
Chair Hauffe called the meeting to order at noon.
Jennings moved and Karen seconded to adopt the agenda. Motion passed.
Novotny moved and Hamer seconded to go into executive session to discuss Complaint 01-10-15. Motion
passed. Nature of complaint is a veteran being denied rental because he has a service dog.
Rahman moved and Karen seconded to come out of executive session. Motion passed.
Hauffe will contact an agency which forwarded the complaint to see what they are doing about it.
Hauffe will also contact the complaintant to obtain more information.
The Committee will then reconvene to further discuss the complaint.
Motion was made to adjourn and carried. Meeting adjourned at 12:31 pm.
