AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AS MADE FOR THE YEAR 1997 BY ORDINANCE NO.20-96
AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF
THE CITY,AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section L WI�REAS,by the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the year 1997,Ordinance
No.20-96 appropriating revenue for the operation of the municipal government for the year 1997,
sufficient revenue was not provided to enable the municipality to conduct the indispensable functions of
the government of said City.
Section 2. THERE IS HEREBY appropriated for the purpose of maintaining and operating the
City of Brookings,additional sums for the following funds:
