ORDINANCE NO. 24-98
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
BROOKINGS PERTAINING TO MOBILE HOME PARK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA, THAT ARTICLES II AND VII, CHAPTER 50, THE 1994 REVISED
ZONING ORDINANCE SHALL BE AMENDED,AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:

ARTICLE II DEFINITIONS

Mobile Home Park: Any premises where one or more mobile homes/manufactured homes are
parked for living or sleeping purposes and where recreational vehicles are parked temporarilv for
livin o�pin�purposes. A mobile home park mav also include any buildings, structures,
vehicles or shelters used or intended for use as part of the equipment of such mobile home park.

Recreational Vehicle: A vehicle desi�ned for recreational use as in camping or for temporarv
living Quarters and may include motor homes, travel trailers and campers.
II.
ARTICLE VII GENERAL REGULATIONS

Mobile Homes/Manufactured Housing
B. Regulations regarding mobile home/manufactured housing parks shall meet the
following minimum standards:
B.3.e.1. Recreational vehicles shall onl�placed on established lots or new lots meetin�
the minimum area and setback requirements of this ordinance.
2. A Zoning and Use Registration Permit shall be required stating the term of
occupancv. Such term shall not exceed 210 da s�v calendar vear.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
