ORDINANCE NO. 11-99
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-17 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES
OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA, RELATIVE TO REGULAR MEETING TIMES OF
THE CITY COMMISSION OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS,
SOUTH DAKOTA:
That Section 2-17 of the Revised Ordinances of Brookings, South Dakota,be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows,to-wit:
Section 2-17. Regular Meetings.
The Regular Meetings of the City Commission shall be held at the Commission
Chambers on Tuesday of every week and shall commence at 7:30 o'clock P.M., except for the ls`
Tuesday of each month,when the starting time of the meeting shall be 2:00 o'clock P.M. In the
event that any Tuesday shall be a legal holiday,then the City Commission may cancel or
reschedule that meeting.
That any and all ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

The regular meetings of the Board of the City Com- �
missioners shall be at the Commissi�ners � Chambers,
Monday evenin� of every week and shall commence at 8: 00
o� clock P . M. In the event that any Monday shall be a �
legal holiday, then the regular meeting shall be held �
on the Tuesday following the Monday on which the regular "
meeting would have taken place . �

shall be called by the City Auditor whenever requested � �
by the Mayor or by two of the City Commissioners . Notice ' � � I

before such meeting by either mailing a notice to the �
1�Iayor and each Commissioner or giving them personal notice
of said meeting. '

vote , one member who shall be known as the Police and '
Fire Commissioner, one who shall be known as the Com- `

"REGULAR MCETINGS. " y
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAI<OTA:
I That Section l. 0101 of Chapter 1. �1 of Ordinance No. 460,
being the 1964 Revised Ordinance of the City of Brooking, South
Dal<ota, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows,
to-wit:
Section 1. Olpl - Regular Meetings
The regular meetings of the Board of the City Commissioners
shall be at the Commissioners' Chambers Tuesday afternoon of
every week and shall commence at 2:00 o'clock Po Mo In the event
that any Tuesday shall be a legal holiday, then the regular meeting
shall be held on the Wednesday following the Tuesday on which the
regular meeting would have taken place.
