Resolution Awarding Bids for
2014-03SSI Division Avenue Drainage Improvement Project, Phase I
Whereas, the City of Brookings opened bids for 20�4-03551 Division Avenue Drainage
Improvement Project, Phase I, on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 1:30 pm at the Brookings City&
County Government Center; and
Whereas,the City of Brookings has received the following bids for 2014-03SSI Division Avenue
Drainage Improvement Project, Phase I: Bowes Construction, Inc.: $253,024.95 and Rounds �
Construction Company, Inc.: $272,670.24.
Now Therefore, Be It Resolved that the project be awarded to the low bid of Bowes
Construction, Inc. for$253,024.95, contingent on South Dakota Department of Environmental
and Natural Resources approval.
Passed and approved this 12th day of August, 2014.
