Resolution of Intent to Lease Real Property to SGS North America Inc.
Be it Resolved by the governing body of the City of Brookings, South Dakota that the City of
Brookings intends to enter into a lease agreement with SGS North America Inc.,for a period of
one year with an option to renew for two additional one year periods pertaining to the
following described property:
Research &Technology Center—803 32"d Avenue
The Lease will be an amount of$10.00 per square foot for Year One (1), and increased by the
percentage increase of the previous twelve month period of the Consumer Price Index—
Midwest Region based on the agreed upon square footage of 2,120 square feet.
Be It Further Noted,that a Public Hearing on this Resolution was held on July 22, 2014 at 6:00
o'clock P.M. at the Brookings City& County Government Center and that all persons were given
an opportunity to be heard on the intent to lease real property.
Passed and approved this the 12th day of August, 2014.
